Religion
We will begin practicing the Stations of the Cross this week. We will also have a Lenten prayer service on Wednesday.

Math
We will begin multiplying by 2-digit numbers. For example: 88X35. The kids will also multiply a bit bigger numbers and numbers with decimal points this week.

Reading
We will be reading the story called Yeh-Shen: A Cinderella Story from China. The kids will be working on sequencing events throughout the story as they read.

Language Arts
We are wrapping up our conjunctions unit this week. The kids are going to start an adverbs unit.

Social Studies
The kids have been doing great gathering information for the Civil War. They will begin writing paragraph 1 & 2 on Wednesday and paragraph 3 & 4 on Thursday.

Science
This week the kids are learning about Inside Earth and what they can expect to see.

Just a reminder: The Lose Change drive is currently taking place. Maybe your child could do some extra chores around the house to earn some money for Sister Klaus. Anything is appreciated.

The Treasure Box is getting pretty low. When you are out shopping, if you wouldn’t mind picking up an extra bag of candy for the kids…it is really appreciated.
