6th Grade Reading: The sixth graders have a tea party today. During our tea party the students will share their character scrapbooks. Later this week we will use our reading time to work on our Olympic studies and our president presentations.

Spelling/ Grammar: In grammar this week we will discuss Linking Verbs.

5th Grade Math- Chapter 10: Divide by Two Digit Divisors: This week we will continue to work with division. Two digit divisors will challenge our math skills.

6th Grade Math- Chapter 10 will continue to challenge us to multiply & divide fractions and mixed numbers.

Social Studies- After studying life on the range, we will move on to the homesteaders and the Plains Wars. These topics will help us to end Chapter 18.

Science: This week we with continue our study of earthquakes. We will review information about the Earth’s changing crust. We will also research where most earthquakes take place.

Religion- This week we will continue with Chapter 7: The Image of God. We will look at the titles used to honor Jesus. We will also learn what incarnation and divine mean. We will also begin our Lent studies.

* Please help us to continue to collect prayers for our Haiti prayer chain. Our class is looking for ways to collect more prayers to reach our goal of 1,920. Please help us!
